NextAid invites you to make a tax-deductible gift donation to benefit the youth of the Kawangware Street Children and Youth Project (KSCYP) located in a Kenyan slum bordering Naroibi.  KSCYP strives to get youth off the streets and offers economic and performance activities, such as making custom silk screened gift bags and cards out of recycled paper for sale to safari companies, tourist shops and corporate clients. The profits generated help support the youth workers’ basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care and education, while also taking care of the community’s orphaned and vulnerable children. NextAid has committed to helping raise funds for the construction of an eco-friendly, multipurpose facility for the project’s micro-business.  The first phase of the project will be to  train the youth in ecological construction - $35 will provide training for 2 weeks, $65 will provide training for 1 month (includes meals and stipend).
