Greener is greater

With assistance and inspiration by Green Wave, an environmental partner non-profit, NextAid is taking the Miami music scene to the next (green) level with the 2010 Beats Build Hope party.

In alignment with this vision, the Shore Club venue was chosen not just because it was a rockin venue but because they were the first property in Miami to receive Florida's Green Lodging ( www.dep.state.fl.us/greenlodging/about.htm) certification given by Florida's Department of Environmental Protection. The Shore Club has shown commitment to conserve and protect Florida’s natural resources by implementing a core set of environmental initiatives focused on water conservation, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, waste reduction and environmental education.

Additionally, Beats Build Hope will offset the carbon footprint of the party, including hotel guests associated with the party by contributing to the EarthEra Energy Trust (www.earthera.com) which goes to build new renewable energy facilities across the nation to transition America toward a clean energy future.

And thanks to VeeV Acai Spirits & The Shore Club, YOU can help us with our eco- friendly efforts that night by drinking Veev Acai Spirit "TREEtini's". For every TREEtini sold at Beats Build Hope, Veev will plant a tree. Find out more information on the TREEtini website: www.veevlife.com/TREEtini

NextAid

NextAid harnesses the power of music to create sustainable solutions to the challenges facing African children. Funds will go towards the construction of an eco-friendly facility to help expand an inspiring youth group's micro-business and enrichment program, ultimately allowing them to serve more orphaned and vulnerable youth within the Kawangware slum of Kenya. Visit http://nextaid.org.

LIFEbeat

LIFEbeat also mobilizes the talents and resources of the music industry to raise awareness and to provide support to the AIDS community. Visit http://lifebeat.org.

Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihood (SOIL)
Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihood (SOIL) believes that the path to sustainability is through transformation, of both disempowered peoples and discarded materials, turning apathy and pollution into valuable resources. They are empowering communities, building the soil and nourishing the grassroots in Haiti. Funds will go towards rebuilding efforts. Visit http://oursoil.org.

Green Wave
Green Wave is a dynamic, environmental non-profit inspiring waves of change by creating living examples focused on living consciously, peacefully and harmoniously with the environment and with each other for the well being of our planet. The Green Wave Sanctuary will be an earth-friendly, safe and loving facility fulfilling early childhood development needs (day-care, enrichment activities and health and nutrition programs) for orphaned and vulnerable children in the Kawangware community.
